Description & Features


CV5800 self-operated regulator is a spring-loaded, direct-acting miniature pressure reducing valve. Regulators feature reduce relatively high upstream-pressure to extreme-low downstream pressure and stabilize constant outlet pressure. Suitable to gaseous micro pressure control especially for the miniature pressure nitrogen blanketing. Pressure proportional control range: from 0.2KPa to 15KPa, the operating temperature down to -48°C and up to 120°C.


Pressure registration: at the top of tank for nitrogen blanketing application.


Compact structure: pressure regulators integrated with springs, high protective performance.


No packing: no friction for expected high sensitivity especially under micro pressure regulating, and eliminating potential leak points.


Amplifying thrust force: comparing with conventional actuator exert a low force by micro pressure, the lever style regulator amplifying the thrust force which diaphragm offering high to 6 times, then regulators have excellent regulating performance and more suitable to differential pressure application. Lever style actuator can shuts off the valve and holding pressure while outlet flow of regulator is reduced to zero value.  


Overload safety: Regulating device of regulator are designed to be light and precise as far as possible for best performance, then it would be damaged by the thrust of actuator when regulator was overload, so that’s the reason for overload protection device which discharges this overload pressure. Therefore regulator is protected even while overload force is high up to maximum operating inlet pressure.


Easy pressure regulating: regulating pressure is easy, quick and convenient by screw style.


Soft sealing: tight shut-off.


Stainless steel actuator: ensure high pressure strength and long service life.


Easy installation: the 360 degree rotation of the actuator is easy to install especially in tight spaces.


Easy maintenance: top-entry and bonnet centering alignment design reduces maintenance time and manpower requirements; trim parts can be inspected, cleaned and replaced without removing the main valve body from the pipeline.


Universal parts: the parts of whole series self-acting regulators are in common, less need of spare parts.
