Description & Features
CV1900 labyrinth disc stacked trim control valve is suitable for compressible and incompressible fluids, and has wide application in high temperature and high pressure severe service, labyrinth trim breaks the large pressure drop across the valve trim into a series of smaller pressure drops by forcing the fluid through a tortuous path of right angle turns, limit velocity below 30 m/s, deliver reliable control, long life and freedom from cavitation, erosion, vibration and noise problems, eliminating the need and expense for supplementary devices, such as diffusers and silencers, the trim design is based on velocity control principles.
Balanced and unbalanced is optional.
Frictional losses in small passages.
Eliminates cavitation, noise and high velocity damaging.
Optimized for a given application.
Disk stacks can be characterized.
Tight shut-off is standard, leakage class ANSI B16.104 VI is optional.
