Description & Features

CV1500 Low Flow Control Valve Plug



CV1500 low flow control valve is designed to provide smooth and precise control of small Cv application, to solve the problem as cavitation, abrasion, vibration, noise and poor performance associated with traditional single-seat valve applicable in high differential pressure and low flow service.


Low flow control valve’s Cv value can be low to 1 × E-3.


Plug structure is full guided: stable motion, and eliminate plug deforming or bending by unbalanced force.


Very small flow area: clearance fit between the conical part of plug with the conical part of seat, then it works low flow controlling precise and steady. Better to reduce the fluid abrasion, by flow direction to open and streamline shape of plug head.


Multi-stages pressure reducing structure: continually expanding grooves on the conical part of plug, special applied in high differential pressure application. Pressure-unbalanced plug for tight seal, seat retainer has pressure relieving groove to avoid fluid pressure broken seal gasket. Flow paths on seat retainer is orifice design, all of valve’s flow paths is calculated and simulated by CFD computational fluid dynamics software under different working conditions.
